SHIPPING & RETURNS
DOMESTIC AND LOCAL
Local orders over $1000 qualify for free shipping via our in-house delivery service. For local orders under $1000 a delivery service is available for a $100 flat rate. Alternatively you are welcome to arrange your own shipping or collection from out studio in the arts and industrial estate in Byron Bay. Please contact Hawker at firstname.lastname@example.org to book in a suitable collection time slot. Local is defined as 50 kilometres from Byron Bay postcode 2481.
Outside of local deliveries, for smaller packable items we can post anything under 25kg. Large furniture items will be shipped via a third party freight company or by Hawker directly. All orders are shipped from Byron Bay, Australia. We offer a monthly delivery to Sydney and can arrange shipment to Brisbane more regularly. Domestic orders will be shipped 24-48 hours after your order has been placed, unless noted otherwise.
All sales are final and Hawker will not be held liable for any damages after the product has left our warehouse. Any transit damage discovered after the fact and not noted in writing on the bill of lading will preclude a damage claim with the shipping company. It is the responsibility of the receiver to inspect all items before signing off on the BOL or allowing the driver to leave. If the order arrives broken, please contact us immediately and document the transaction with images to support your case. We do our utmost to be transparent on the patination and the finish as each product is vintage and will have some natural wear and tear. Before you make any purchase be conscious you are buying pre-loved and pre-used. Rejecting a purchase due to its characterful blemishes will not result in a refund.
Generally speaking Hawker does not ship internationally, although we hope to in the near future. For any further enquiries on this matter you can contact us at email@example.com to discuss this further. Hawker is not responsible for any customs or duties on international exports.
If for some reason your purchase doesn't work out, please email firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of receipt of your order to discuss your options for return. All sales are final, however we want you to love your purchase and if its not for you we will offer a store credit to the value of the returned items. Returning the product will be at the buyers cost.
If you have purchased a Hawker product from another retailer, it is at the discretion of the retailer to advise on their return policy. All items must be unused and in new condition with any tags still attached. We strongly advise all vintage products be thoroughly examined prior to purchase as they do have wear and tear. Please contact Hawker to request an appointment to view product, or for a video prior to finalising you purchase. It is imperative you are confident in your vintage purchase as we cannot accept returns on our vintage products.
Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted and sent back to the customer. Any vintage products, custom orders, artwork, books and sale items are final sale. All shipping charges are non-refundable and all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
